Hello
I'm Finnigan Cogwheel! I'm an inventor, engineer and teacher. I love making things, figuring out problems and finding solutions. It's my goal to help as many children as possible learn how to be inventors, think critically or just stay curious. I hope you'll come along for the journey.
My Story
My name is Jonathan Gee (AKA: Finnigan Cogwheel.) In a past life I've worked IT Support in a call center, software Quality Assurance, bartender and retail pinata. Generally I hated my life professionally. That changed in 2018 when I became a STEM teacher. Since then almost every day has been amazing! I enjoy teaching. Seeing something "click" with a student is one of my greatest joys.
Over the past few years though I've noticed a change in students, especially the younger ones. The curiosity seems to be leaving them as is the desire to figure things out. I created Finnigan and Cogwheel Workshop as a way of trying to put that spark back! I have big plans for Finnigan and his adventures so let's do something AMAZING!
