About the event
In this hands-on STEAM workshop, kids ages 7–11 take their first steps into coding using the Micro:bit, a tiny but powerful computer designed for beginners.
Participants learn how to program the Micro:bit’s LED display, creating images, patterns, and simple animations. Through guided exploration and playful challenges, kids learn foundational coding concepts like sequencing and cause-and-effect—no prior experience needed.
This 45-minute session is designed to feel more like a creative lab than a class. Kids experiment, test ideas, and proudly share what they build, all while developing confidence with technology.
